3rd Gen JBL Audio Problem

I went with the Powerbass 6.5" speakers from Crutchfield. Had decent reviews for replacement of the JBL's. They are 2 ohm speakers as well. I was really surprised to see how toy like the JBL's looked.

 

While you have your door panels off
Check the door water drainage hole
Clear out the debris if it's clogged
I had an Rx 350 with horrible water drainage. I removed a large section of the rubber seal. I don't know what Lexus engineer were thinking.
And the V6 GT engine..they need to fix some issues with those motors. Damn front timing cover leaking. And camshaft sub assembly housing leaks also.

 

Curious on how they sound. I was looking into JBL GX series. Waiting till spring, -17 here this morning.

 

I will probably end up switching everything else out also. I’m not sure what front door speaker and tweeters to go with? Is the front door speakers 2 ohm also?

 

Yes, all are 2 ohm fronts 6x9, dash 3.5"
