What are ya'll using for a locking hitch pin? The ones I've got are too short... need something that is long enough to make it through the receiver and then allow the lock to go on.

Just to let you know that those dial type locks are easy to pick open. at most 2 min, BUT it will stop a parking lot snatch and grab of your hitch. If someone is out stealing your shit they most likely know how to open them.

Old thread, but for information purposes I use the Bolt hitch pin. Can be keyed to your truck key to keep from having to carry another set of keys, which has always been a big irritation for me.

Couldn't you just use the tailgate key?

Rhino Brand for me. Dust cover makes sure when I'm wheeling it still works afterwards. $20 on Amazon.

I got a ball mount with the lock and hitch pin built in. The standard locking hitch pins (I've tried several) tend to corrode and stop working in short order unless regularly removed and lubed. Plus having the lock in the back keeps me away from the heavily fluid filmed underside of my truck.

They are for 2016 models (I think 2017's as well but not sure). They still used a regular key for the tailgate.
