I have a 2016 manual trd sport 4x4 with 1,500 miles on it and I'm getting 16-17 mpgs per tank. Whats everyone else with a manual 3rd gen getting?

I have the off-road. First tank I'm getting 17 but driving semi aggressively because I'm coming from the 2.7 and it's too much fun. If I drive it like my 4 banger I get 20-22 with a best of 23. At 40mph in 6th gear I can usually peg out the instantaneous mpg at 30. get it into 6th around 35 mph. I'm shocked how little it lugs, it has enough torque to pull gears at 1k without shutter

Mostly mixed, and I'm between 19 and 20 (filled up this morning for a tank average of 19.6). It's been pretty consistent now over 6500 miles. I think it would be better if I didn't sit in stop and go traffic on my commute home every day. I'm taking a 1000 mile trip in a few weeks and am hopeful that it will get 20+ on the interstate that entire time.

I have a ridiculously long commute to work, but I've been getting 20ish, almost all highway.

See my Fuelly badge in my signature below. This will improve come spring as right now it is single digits most mornings and I let it idle for 10 minutes to warm up.

I think winter gas and cold temps aren't helping. I've also been playing a lot. :D

20+ easily up to around 60mph on secondary roads. 17-18 stop and go or interstate speeds. DC OR MT.

Is that not the point of having a manual? If I wanted boring, economical shifts, I would have gotten an automatic.

Yep. I have almost 12000 km on my 2015 and I have yet to burn a whole tank of gas without excessively and unnecessarily using WOT.

And I didn't vote in the pole because I don't have a third gen, but the last option says less than 20. Should be >20.

On my 25 mile morning commute with cruise set at 80mph I get 16mpg. If I take the slow roads home(45-55mph ) I hit 20-21mpg. Truck has 2200 miles on it, tank average is sitting at about 17. I don't think she goes into Atkins cycle when holding 80mph.lol But man I do love this gearbox, never have to take it out of sixth until I hit the exit ramp.

Because my timing of scraping windows, shoveling snow, scraping c wife's windows, going back in the house when I forgot my phone, loading up a 4 and a 6 yearold, never seems too go as quickly as it should.

I'm actually surprised you can all of this done so quickly, because I know from experience how long this part takes:
