**Do remember that this Maxtrac lift is for 2wd only**

I had the 4" spindles, Bilstein struts set at 0, ome Dakar pack 3" in the rear, stock 17" tss wheels with 285/70/17 bfg ko2s.

I loved the look personally. I had that setup for a little while and It looked good, good height and it looked proportionate all around. At first the driver side strut seat was flipped upside down so it looked taller than the passenger side but once that was fixed it all looked good. I do think it would have looked a little better with a wider wheel than the stock 17x7.5 wide, but wasn't bad. I'll see if I still have pics of that setup and pm you.

Here's my final pictures. Again, 4", 5100s at 0 on stock springs, rear 2.5" (block and add-a-leaf), 285/75R16. It looks so fawking good. That extra inch and stance really make the truck stand out and the driveability definitely went up versus the 2.5" lift before. 0 regrets. Also, there's no way I'm going higher than this, 4" is perfect for me. Also personally, I would run as close to 0 offset of a wheel as possible (right at the 4.5" backspacing), because that 0.75" track width kickout will push the tires out pretty far by itself. All 2WD guys wanting to go 3" should definitely go this route. It will cost less and it looks amazing.

Edit: I also put 0.75" wheel spacers in the back to even the track width out.

Really digging your cement grey! It looks very proportional; as if they should come like that from the factory!

    Lifted 4x2 Tacomas Unite!

Hey guys I just had the maxtrac 4inch spindle installed a few weeks ago and have had 2 alignments done and still have the bump steer issue. Has anyone else had this problem with the maxtrac spindle lift?

It wants to go slightly right and over bumps it jerks a little bit. I have to take it to get retorqued would that fix the issue?

Definitely have them go back through everything. I wonder if they put the steering ends upside down or something...

Yeah idk the whole reason I went with spindles is so it wouldn’t change the ride quality or mess with the geometry but it definitely feels like it has

Mine felt 1,000x better than 2.5" from springs after spindles. Something is wrong with install.

Maybe take some pictures, specifically of the steering ends and how they bolt to the spindles.

I am also wondering if this happened. If the 3rd gen spindles are like the 2nd gen ones, then the outer tie rod ends need to be inverted during install @Tjw30

Also, what is the width/offset on your wheels? I wonder if they are rubbing the a-arms?
