I studied the pictures. Nothing is jumping out at me at all... Every piece of the suspension needs to be checked/re-torqued of course.

Do you have a copy of the alignment specs after the spindles were installed?

Yes I do, it also hasn’t been retorqued yet he said to wait after 500 miles so I’m going back for that tomorrow. Would that fix the issue?

I don't think it's going to fix bump steer unless something wasn't tightened right. Anyways, just FYI, the maxtrac spindles don't cause any bump steer by themselves. They should feel exactly like stock since the suspension and steering geometry is all stock. That's the beauty of them.

Yeah that’s what I thought going into it that nothing was going to change. Hopefully the tightening fixes the issue otherwise idk what it is

In your opinion does it look like they were installed correctly?

I didn't see anything obvious. Steering links were right. Why is it all spray painted black?

To match my whole black and white look I was going for. I’m gonna replace the front suspension with fox 2.0 to match the back anyways

There is definitely something weird about your upper back joint on driver side. What is up with that plate between the ball joint on bottom and upper a arm? Look at mine. Mine doesn't have a plate there.

Anyone have a set of Spindles for sale in Southern California? PM me if you have a set after doing an upgrade.

Headstrong off-road in Hemet has them in stock and it's a big cost saving for local pickup workout shipping.

I take it you have to run aftermarket wheels with this kit ?

You have to run 4.5" backspacing wheels on an 8-9" wide. You can run stock wheels with bolt on spacers.

the offset you can run depends on how wide of wheels you get. Say you want 10" wheels, to be under the max backspace (around 4.5") you'd need at least -13 offset. You can do 10" btw i have 10" wheels with 33x12.5 with no spacers on the front.

to figure out the backspace of any wheel just divide the offset by 25.4 to convert it to inches. Then add or subtract it to half your wheel width. (Add if it has positive offset, subtract if it has negative)

If I was unsure, I would test fit ANYTHING that wasn't at least 4.5" backspacing and make sure you can return it. Even a 4.75" backspacing I would be concerned. This has less to do with the wheel/design face and more to do with the rim's inner lip clearance to the spindle which is unavoidable.

Thoughts on this setup? Too small of tire/wheel?
    -6.5" Maxtrac
    -17x8.5 SCS F5

That doesn't seem to small at all. 33s/4" is good and 35s/6.5" is good I think.

Anyone has pictures of their truck with Maxtrac 4" lift and SCS Ray10? I would appreciate pictures if possible. What size tires you went with?
