I am looking for recommendations for light-duty skids for the most vulnerable spots on a 3rd gen TRD SCrew sport. Just something to protect the vitals once or twice when the usual ruts end up being a bit deeper than they were last week. Gets me home, take the damaged skid off and replace it. Sort of like a bike helmet for the under guts.

    TIA

Budbuilt makes lite duty skids for the 2nd gen, so I imagine he'll be making them for the 3rd gen soon. It's made out of 1/8" instead of 3/16" or 1/4" like a lot of skids are. Aside from aluminum, they're the best bang for your buck on weight.

Isn't that what the factory skids are for?

I'm not the brightest bulb when it comes to this sort of thing, but when I look under my TRD Sport, i only see a front skid. Am I missing other areas underneath that should have factory skid protection?
