I like how you mounted these high in the fender well. Thinking I’m going to go the same route. Any chance you have pictures of both the front and rear inside wheel well for reference when mounting them up?

OEM on 18 taco. Stock suspension. 33” tires.

Still driving around with this broken flap after 5 months. I was Crawling down some seriously large rocks and muddy trails I slid off a rock and dinged my strut mount (thought I slapped my dif at the time lol) it was a loud bang too.. but this also happened. It did not like the mud and rocks. Not sure if I want to replace with oem or find better alternative..

Here are my Rek Gens after I installed them. I did adjust them some after about a month but they fit well.

Crap I meant to look at what I ordered last night. I can't remember but I think the difference between the regular and XL is 1 inch in width. There is quite a bit of adjustment in these and I moved them out for better coverage for my tires. I am thinking they might just be the standard size but I can't check my personal email here at work to verify. I will check tonight if I don't have another brain fart.

I think there are examples of XL in this thread:

This horse isn’t quite dead yet..

Has anyone purchased the Husky Kickbacks and have some pics and some experiences they would like to share with them? I couldn’t find any videos on YouTube with them on a tacoma so I’m at a loss for how they look. but I need something thin enough my front wheels won’t rub on and I won’t crack a plastic flap sinking her in into a rock. I’d rather not have to constantly paint my rock sliders from rock ejections out of my front wheels.. hoping the flaps would help. Had to take oem off to fit no rub my tires.

I will mail you a dope ass sticker if someone could help a brother out.

Are those the regular or XL?

just saw your previous post. Regular. Any issues with coverage? Happy with them?

also curious about your offset on the wheels. Those the -6 or -12?
    Thanks!

@xerogs1 Did you find out if you ordered XL or Regulars? Yours look perfect. Just enough overhang, IMHO. I want to order whatever size you ordered. :)

Do you rub at all in the front? I have 285s as well & considering getting flaps again due to living on a 1.25 mile long gravel road.

Mostly electrical shit that nobody cares about.
Another vote for Rokblokz. They were easy to install and I think they have the perfect firmness. Not too flabby, but still flexible enough to slide over a curb without getting chewed up by the wheel. I'm sure Rek Gens are a similar construction.

On the Roblokz site it says "This kit does not currently work with the side exit exhaust on the TRD Pro, TRD Off Road and TRD Off Road Premium released in 2020." Can anyone confirm that's the case? Is there also an issue with RekGen?

Looking for flaps for my '21 Off Road.
