3rd Gen OEM Bed Lighting Kit on a 2nd Gen?

I did a quick search and didn't see any chatter on this kit. Is this a new accessory for 2019? Does anyone have any experience? And of course, (the most important question) can this be retrofitted to a 2nd gen??

True on the price being high.. being OEM. Figured the install would be easier/clean look of the OEM would make the price a little easier to swallow.

 

If you are looking for a OEM kit, this on fits 2nd gens and will save you some money. It has some pretty good reviews.
