Seems like you have a pretty good start with all your different ideals. I can see how the end may never come since your ideals keep getting better and more creative!

Very impressed with the final product. My wife who's not into cars at all said they were cool, so that's how you know they're cool

 

Those look awesome! Only thing I can think of is that stupid people will see four headlights and flash you even though they have the proper cutoff. Keep up the creativity so we can live vicariously through you!

Okay, took them out for their first night out to adjust/level and get some initial impressions.

DAMN these things have a crazy hotspot.
Noticed it right away in the increased foreground illumination.



High beams;



Here's what I'm not too thrilled about.. Although I lined up each pair of projectors perfect with each other(30ft)... The further back the truck is, the cutoffs will end up crossing. It's not horrible, but enough to trigger my OCD. There's just no way around it when you have 2 separate projectors on different level plains tying to aim at the same spot.
Also, the cutoff lines seem "hazy". I Assure you, They are razor sharp... it's just when you have 4 together they seem to bleed into one another.



One thing I WILL miss about my RX's is the awesome cutoff. But it's a trade off for more Light output. We'll see, maybe my next set will be Quad Koito Bi-led


Another function that was nice was wiring the halos into Parking lights only. This came in Handy tonight when I was in the drive thru @ IN-N-OUT. Headlights were on, and I could tell they were blinding the little car in front of me. So, flip the stalk switch back 1 click to Parking lights, and now they illuminate a soft amber while still being visible and not obnoxious.

Speaking of your old RSX headlights, what's happening to them?

 

The RX350 lights that were on the truck before these Quads have been sold.
The RLX swap I was working on a while ago is still in development. AKA OCTOEYES

I'm not a big fan of halos, they look pretty good but something about them is hard for me to want to actually buy them. Yours though, make me think I need some on my truck!

I patiently waiting to see these Octo's come to fruition. Though the chrome turn signal buckets might look better with the amber cover like you quad Halo ones.

 

I think it's the fact that they're not a complete circle, and you can't see them when they're not on. I feel the same way as you!

Exactly! I hate the big white ring that stands out when people do halos. Major turn off. Everything is nice and blacked out, then you see these googly eyes staring at you

My main objective was to mask the halo, while still being plenty visible. I think it was achieved.
