Did you see the vid that they posted on facebook/insta today? The hot spot is something real, but they do look good. Not the width that I would hope for, but I want to see them side to side with a Mini D2S 4.0

That's how they are selling them is "hot spot" to play some trickery hehe.

Way I see it and deceive projector is, do we park in a dark alley and stare at a wall?

I like realistic driving photos with lighting outside, that's how I took pics of the I.LED, inside they were a completely different projector compared to real time driving.

I am sure though morimoto will be better it always is, TRS does spend a lot of money to upgrade their products.

I'm just saying that I noticed the hot spot when they ran the video. Real life scenario will be necessary before I pull the trigger. I mean I would be swapping away from FX-Rs... can't take too big of a hit.

Yeah understood for sure. I got one truck it's fxrs (wife's truck) and my shop truck with LEDs, we did a comparison but it wasn't fair, the fxrs were 55w with CBH bulbs

Yeah I have CBI bulbs and 55w ballasts myself. Is the LED setup even close?

The M-LED's are gonna be pretty pricey too. These i.lens are good enough to hold me over until I get my hands on a set of LASER projectors.
You heard that right folks... my next retro set will use laser beam headlights:eek:

They are freakin' awesome. Get compliments all the time and I always ask; "what's the first description that comes to mind"?
9/10 times the response is "it looks pissed off":rofl::yes:

I run all Quad LED's at the same time for headlights. After having some time behind the wheel at night, I love the color temp and intensity. They lack a little width, but I have other lights to fill that gap. Watching 4 blue cutoffs flicker and bounce off road signs is oddly satisfying.

To be this handy with wiring knowledge would be a Godsend!

Any chances you've changed your mind on making this build more than a one-off?!?!?!

Is there a way I could get the 3D printing files for the dual projector mount brackets and back of the housing seals, I really want to try this LED projector mod out. :D

good question..I'll have to see where it's at. Most of my stuff I just draw on the spot and print/or machine them out. Also, the brackets were specifically made for the I-lens bolt pattern, not the Toyota OEM projectors. Attempt at own risk.
