Thanks guys. I usually stick to tails, but when I saw these LED projectors available(I'm an LED whore) I couldn't resist doing a build with them. BTW, here is how bright the new Amber DRL strip is (compared to the OEM white one, which is still plenty bright)

DAMN! That looks badass. How do the cut off lines affect the brightness when you switch to high beam though?

Solid work as expected! I prefer the smoked look of the DRL vs the all-amber, only because I mostly consider how it looks when the truck is parked and electronics are off.

I would rotate those angry halos a little more counterclockwise from your mockup to get the look you want

I have seen them done like that. For a single halo I think it looks good. But with 2, I want the "cutoff line" to taper down at the same angle. Also trying to follow the lines of the inside headlight bezel. Which would mean the inner halo will have more black covering it. Idk, I'll wait until I have them in hand and play around with different designs. Appreciate all the input!

If you're having Permaseal problems I feel bad for you son.
No heat, no solvents, no problem. Just a flat head screwdriver and some patience.

Here is the result. Factory clean channel!:D
    [IMG]

You can see the before/after the OEM permaseal is still at the bottom.

Here is how I do it. Your technique may vary. Pull on the sealant with one hand while using the flat head to "roll" it out of the channel. (sorry for video quality, I was trying to film and do it at the same time)

P.S.: I have found 295° @ 15min is the magic number, and these things pop right open.
