I went through lemon law process in my 2016 trd sport mgm manual transmission. Yesterday they call me and agreed to replaced or repurchased and i asked for replacement. They ask me what model and trim. I want a trd offroad, quicksand manual transmission. She told me that less than 1% is that configuration, and is really hard to find. Any one with this configuration here?

Well, at least you didn't ask for a longbed! :D

Yes, she's correct but they're not impossible to find. Just have them order you one!

The first of Nov I ordered a QS TRD Off Road with JBL and Sunroof and an auto. It came in a few days ago. I know its no manual but orders can be placed and processed pretty quickly it seems. I have a 6-speed in my TRD SE FJ, love it but will never buy another one for off roading. I have seen the limits of the manual crawling over rocks. Plus you loose crawl control with the manual. Cant wait to pick mine up. Good luck getting your order in.

I got the truck on jul 2016 after 800 miles truck was having a howling sound from the rear diff. Dealer replaced.
2nd time my rear diff was leaking and got replaced. I was having a water leak inside the cabin and they replaced the windshield and moldings, 3rd time my rear differential fail, horrible grinding. My fuel pump fail, one day tryck just crank but not start... my truck was in the shop for over 43 days combined and under ny lemon law it qualified (30days) my truck only has 9890 miles and did use of my lemon law rights. Not to mention i have a small oil leak but i dont know the source. But any way i get a replacement. Just because i got a bad truck it doesn't mean all tacomas (3rd gen) are bad truck

Fguiza27, to answer your question, I have had a "trd offroad, quicksand manual transmission" 4x4 on order since 10/18/2016 and was told last week build date was approximately 1/13/2017 and it would take a couple weeks after build to get here. So I'm looking at 3 1/2 months total. Less than 1%, wow.

I wish I would have known this when I was getting the lift done, I would have replaced it.

Hey Freddy, sorry to hear you have been having so much trouble with your truck. Maybe I should drive mine more often. Had my Quick Sand only 5 months and only got 1900 +. miles on it.
I lease my trucks. If I lot trouble with mine I guess they will have to take it back. Good Luck on your new truck. Thanks for sharing your story.
