Welcome to the 3rd Gen info thread!:mudding: Post any and all info you can get your hands on. Photos, leaks, build sheets, etc.....

Due to my new found interest in a 3rd Gen I have returned to the fabled forums of TW. Upon returning after many years of being away, I realized one thing.. There is a serious climate change that has taken place here....
    1. Threads seem to derail rather quickly i.e. nobody cares what you had for dinner..... (this is ok in certain threads)
    2. Trolls are afoot everywhere
    3. Seems to be a lack of forum Moderation (in some threads)
I've been a member of the IH8MUD forum for awhile now, and have gotten used to that environment. It is very welcoming to new members, and the wealth of knowledge is amazing. Someone always responds in a helpful way to your posts. Threads are well moderated, and if a member brings B/S to the table, they are quickly shown the door.
Hopefully we can bring back those traits starting with this thread:itllbuffout:. Happy Posting

Yes and its about time. I follow the testdriventv channel on Youtube with Sam Haymart. He has good commentary, and is following the 3rd Gen closely. That's where I will be on the 17th.

The 3rd gen forum has a lot of shit posting because there is very little actual information to share. Like the smugly said, the press is going to release their reviews on the 17th and all the details will come out. That said attached are some leaked documents for anyone that missed them so far. By next week they will be entirely irrelevant.

Agreed, and this thread will evolve as the story continues. I understand there is a Metric F@#$ton of 3rd Gen threads covering every possible topic. I had thumbed through most of them, and the majority leave stationary orbit around page 5. Hoping we can keep it reeled in.

Why is this a thread? And the poll is useless.

Trolls will find no tolls in this thread. So please contribute Toyota related discourse, or crawl back under the bridge from which you came

Taking nothing away from your "illustrious" membership  , but so far you seem to be the only member bringing negativity to the thread. In less than 2hrs of the thread being posted. Impressive

No hurt feelings here.:pccoffee: I just want a clean thread without any negativity. If you have a genuine interest in, or knowledge of the 3rd gen, the floor is yours.

So my question conundrum is with transmission selection. Do I order with a manual, or with an automatic and Crawl Control......:notsure:

I love a M/T, but fear I would kick myself down the road if I didn't opt for Crawl.

I'm in the same boat, I want the manual but the manual not having the keyless start button and crawl is making me have seconds thoughts

I could give thousand points of my opinion, but that's definitely a personal decision. I like my manual transmission also, for a sports car. Not so sure about the truck. I doubt I'll ever use the crawl control feature, but I'm sure if I'm ever in a situation that I need it, it will certainly pay off
