3rd Gen Struts with 2nd Gen Coils

I have a 2020 DCSB TRDOR that i'm getting ready to replace the shocks and struts on with 5100's to level it out. We just bought my son a 2008 DCSB TRD Sport a couple months ago that rides like a steel wagon. I'm sure the shocks are toast at this point as it has 145k miles and still has the originals on it. My plan is to replace them with the shocks and struts off my 20.

I will be reusing my coils on my 5100s so my question is, will the 2nd gen coils work with my 3rd gen struts?

 

These trucks have coilovers, not struts, but no big deal. If they are the base stock coilovers then yes they should be swappable. But if just one of you have the wider TRD body shocks (3”) then they won’t be swappable.
