Anyone else interested in pre-assembled hoses? This will help me determine how much in materials are needed. The more people that are interested, the better, since bulk shipments will reduce costs. Right now I've got 4 interested. I would like to have a couple more to make it cost effective for everyone.

I swear I'm going to lose my mind if I have to deal with any more nonsense.

The Fuel Pressure Sensor fittings I ordered....advertised as 1/8" NPT....turns out they are 1/8 NPS but they call them "universal thread". I'm sorry, but that's a load of crap. Just because you can thread them together doesn't mean they will seal. A straight thread will not seal in a taper thread. I mean "maybe" if you load it with sealant, but we are talking about a pressurized fuel system here and I'm not willing to take that chance.

So I'm now talking to them about special ordering these things.

You know if they had just had the correct terminology on their website in the first place and advertised correctly, then we could have avoided this stupidity. This is what happens when people sell stuff they know nothing about.

THIS is not a tapered thread.......:frusty:

anything that can help the kit come together easily.

if things get difficult for you @JamesT then you can always create options with add'l cost. i'm happy to pay you for your work/time as well as the hardware... if you see fit.

Good news for once. The anodized rails are almost done. I just got the notification that they will be shipped soon.

That being said, once I get them, keep in mind I'll need to do QC on them. That may mean minor adjustments as discussed before, and of course test fitting them.

The first 8 that will go out, based on the pressure sensor fittings that I have, will be as follows:
    BLkdOut
    cruisinAllDay808
    WMCADAMS81
    RedLantern
    mada.yotas
    05Taco4x4
    naked farmer
    Formidable

I'm going to apologize guys. I wish I could send them all out right away, but with only 8 adapters, I'm limited. If someone not on the list above needs them sooner and wants to talk to one of these guys to swap places, please talk it out with them and let me know. BLkdOut is the highest priority. Like me, he has a high boost twin turbo and absolutely requires these rails for his engine to operate properly.

I'm working the adapter piece. I've got a few irons in the fire and will do everything in my power to get them out as soon as I can. For the 8 above, I will hopefully have your kits on their way soon after I receive them. Before the end of August for sure. I will reach out to you all individually for payment just prior to shipping.

For those that requested hose kits, my supercharger tester will be giving me a revised install list very soon so I can come up with a proper price and get everything ordered.

I received the rails. I will be doing the QC and machining over the next few days. Overall they look pretty good.

I got a lot of good bulk price reductions for ordering all the hoses and fittings, so that's going to reduce the cost of the hose kits for everyone. Still waiting to confirm fitment on the Supercharger setup, but as of right now I'm looking at hose kits costing around $170 (unless revisions need made for fitment).

Here is a preliminary look at the setup:

    upload_2022-8-16_13-33-39.jpg

The feeds have been revised so that they are behind and underneath the supercharger, which also allows for minimal relocation of the factory feed hose. You will only need to turn the Port feed line 90 degrees rearward. Please ignore my factory feed line placement, as they had to be relocated to the firewall to fit my driver turbo. Yours will still remain in the factory location.

The feeds are both equal length to further increase fueling consistency, but this results in the odd loop on the driver side that you see above. This is fine. The PTFE hose is quite rigid, but this is within it's bend radius. The Y block will lay flat underneath the actual blower and be out of the way.

Everything will be shipped assembled, and you will only need to tighten a couple 6AN connections. This can be done carefully with a crescent wrench, but I recommend you invest in a 6AN wrench. You can get them for $10-15 on Amazon. Regular wrenches will often mar the aluminum AN fittings, but the AN wrench will not.

I ordered enough stuff for a few extra sets, so just let me know if you are interested. For everyone else who will be doing their own hose setups I will provide both an installation guide as well as a fitting guide to help with fitting selection and assembly. Those will be provided once the hose setup has been confirmed with the supercharger.

Ok, latest update. Should have some testing results soon for the Supercharger setups. Getting the hose kits updated, as there had to be some slight changes due to space under the supercharger. I'll be finalizing the hose kits this weekend so I can start assembling them for those that want it.

For everyone's awareness, the hose routing is kind of a pain for the supercharger setup. With the N/A and Turbo setups, it's quite easy, but the space used in those setups just isn't there on the supercharger. If you are looking to do a braided hose setup, I'm highly recommending you have the hose kit assembled and provided by me. I'm getting all the fittings at cheaper cost and with minimal shipping fees due to the bulk orders. I'm only using high quality PTFE fittings and I will take all of the trial and error out of the setup. I will do everything I can to keep the cost down as well.

If you are going to build your own hose kit using the same or alternative plumbing, it's incredibly important that you see how we had to set this up so you can plan accordingly. I will document this weekend and release to everyone so you can plan accordingly.

As for delivery, I plan to start shipping next week. That being said, equipment shortages are a real thing. Seriously if I hear "national backorder" or "supply chain issues" again I'm going to lose my mind. I'm waiting for two things, which will effect a lot of orders:

    • Fuel Pressure Fitting adapters: You need it to adapt your fuel pressure sensor to the rails. I'm waiting on 2 different orders: One was placed a while ago, but I only got some of them due to backorder. The other I paid to have 100 of the things made for me, but it'll take 5 weeks. Everyone will get a fitting in their kit (hoses included or not).
    • Y Fittings: For those that have hose kits ordered, these combine the dual feeds to the single factory feed. Only one place has the MMF type and I only got 2 out of my order. The rest are due to ship in a few days supposedly.
Since this has been getting repeated delays, I'm going to offer something reluctantly: I have 11 of those "universal" thread adapters. If you don't want to wait for your rails, I will give you the option to opt for one of these instead. You will use this AT YOUR OWN RISK. It has a tendency to damage the threads in what you put it in, and the mechanical seal is not as good as what a true NPT thread accomplishes. With your pumps only running below 60 psi, you "might" be ok with this, but I'd prefer you wait for the correct fitting. If this is something you want to take a chance on, just PM me.

Ok, so the rails are about ready to go out. I will reach out to everyone individually to arrange payment as their shipment is prepared. Again, I don't have everything for everyone, so a lot of the kits will be delayed. I seriously apologize for this.

    The rails will be $160.
The PTFE hose + fitting kit will be $180.

I realize the hose kit seems expensive, but this is the cost of all fittings (without tax or multiple shipping fees) if you go and source them yourself. Everything is sourced from high quality and reputable manufacturers (NO AMAZON BS) and is exactly what I run on my truck. I searched everywhere to find quality fittings for less.

After this first run of 35 rails, the price for everything will go up. Right now it's all at cost.

Here is what you will get in a full kit:
    20220828_171129.jpg

If you get the hose kit, everything will arrive assembled and all you'll need to do is screw the 6AN fittings together and tighten them. Hoses are assembled and rails will have fittings pre-installed. The one you see above is the N/A-TT kit. The S/C will have a slightly different crossover (bottom hose).
    EFF82D24-4B79-40CD-9A0B-B210FDCBAA41.jpg

The Rail only kit will not come with any rail fittings whatsoever. It will only come with the 4 stainless bolts and the nickel fuel pressure sensor adapter in the upper left corner (M12x1 to 1/8 NPT).

This hose kit has been carefully designed based on space constraints. I will release the install instructions here shortly. There is very little room for alteration to this setup. A banjo is the only thing that will fit on the passenger front. A 45 on the passenger rear is the only one that will avoid the high pressure hard line. The straight ends are required where they are for cost reduction and tension resistance (you don't want to put swivel ends under tension). The full flow 90 is there to avoid a swivel fitting/tension scenario as well. The driver side crossover will only fit a 45 hose end and a 120 hose end on the passenger due to where the supercharger sits above it.

Bottom line, there was a lot of trial and error in getting parts that fit and hose lengths perfectly dialed in. If you decide to use your own plumbing, you need to mimic this design as much as possible. Substituting cheap fittings off Amazon or using non-PTFE or non-hard line assemblies is highly discouraged. This is not the place to skimp guys. Leaks = Fire. PTFE lines and quality hard lines will last the life of the truck.

Hey all, James is absolutely correct, the spacing under the Magnuson is tight. Just get the hoses from him already cut to the right length and you won't be sorry. You'll have to do a little angle shifting upon application, but you'll see how it all sits perfectly. I will also just say that this is my 2nd day with the new rails and there is something I missed on the first day. When I go to pass someone on the highway (because there is always some D bag sitting in the passing lane doing 45) not only is there a much more consistent build up in rpm, but also a smoother drive if that makes any sense. I feel like there is more control in my pedal. Also, I no longer dead pedal when I mash on the skinny pedal as I did before (this seems to have fixed the fuel cut limiter issue I was having).

Here is a picture of the finished product installed on the supercharger setup. It's kind of depressing that you won't see it at all since the supercharger completely covers everything.
