    I got this cable but the only tihng im seeing is constant 12V on the black wire. how are you using it?

    Im hoping to wrap this up in the next week or so and I'll pot what I've done.

    @Hoangde pin 13, 14. If I have a rca cable. Which part ie: center conductor to pin?? And the braiding pin ?? Can I just run 1 16awg wire from each pin to the camera. Cut the cameras rca off and hardwire it that way?

    13 would be the center pin. positive which is usually a red wire or center co doctor if coaxial.

    14 would be the return. negative which is black wire or braided shield.

    you can definitely cut the rca connector off and hardwire though the wires are pretty thin.

    So 15 cuts. Taps into 11 just splice into it? 25 splice to 12? This adds the aux button on the HU?

    Here is your issues
    The switch that you bought is not double throws which in turn do not connect 12 v dc needed to turn HU to Camera mode. Look at the schematic again at that switch, noticed that required double throws switch and connect to 12v dc

    I can make the camera turn on. But reverse lights come. When I turn switch off goes back to screen and lights off. When putting shifter in reverse lights come on and camera comes on. But I put both wires together at switch to green wire. Black to ground. And red to battery. Then blue the dash light's.

    Doesn't matter the size? 100ohms 1k ohms. I haven't messed with diode's since the old satellite days.

    So I cut wire 2. Put diode on. The stripe towards radio side of wire 2. Then tap wire from radio side wire 2 to switch green wire. Then red to fuse. The black to ground. Then blue to dash lights. Sound right?

    Easier just go to Radio Shack and ask for one diode.
