    Hi @Hoangde

Do you have a schematic of the 24 pin connector labeled for each pin like you have for the 28 pin connector?
    Thanks!

    Yes,
And sorry for now , I am out of town at this moments. All my docs at home.
If my memory still good then pin 12 and 24 are for video signal. Pin 11 and 23 are for power.

The same shit everyone else has.
I skimmed over this thread, awesome stuff.

I want to do this without but the "any time camera" button - I just want to use a single switch. I want to keep the rear camera as the default to come on in reverse but be able to toggle the front and rear camera off and on when ever Id like.

I didnt see anything in this thread like that. Any suggestions?

Thanks. I was staring at the last night for a lil bit. I'll have to stare at it again. Any time camera was mentioned so I don't think I thought much of it since I don't want an any time rear camera

I stared at post #8 and Im still not seeing it.

Did some more thinking and brain storming.

I plan on using 2 aftermarket cameras. I want the rear camera to be the default and come on when ever the truck is in reverse. I want to be able to toggle the front and rear cameras on any time as well using a DPDT switch...

    I came up with this.

    Does this make sense?

Is the front camera image reversed on the camera you chose? It says reversed so is it backwards?

Ok, dumb question, but I did not see it asked already, please don't crucify me....wondering if anybody here might already know the answer.

If I just buy this pre-made harness (lazy) for just creating the anytime back-up camera https://www.anytimebackupcamera.com/product-page/camera-override-dongle-28-position-1 will my back-up camera still automatically display when I shift into reverse without pressing with the switch?

    Thank you in advance,
    Dan

Yes the override basically just activates the camera and brings up the display. Still functions as it should in reverse.

I bought a backup anytime mod setup brandon was selling a while back. It uses the diode. Trying to install my front cam and trying to figure out how to get it power. Before my truck catches on fire, can I wire the power to the Red 1 on the Mictuning switch to power the camera and the backup anytime mod at the same time?

ABec23 Since this is a SPDT switch, how exactly does this activate? Hoangde's setup you activate the anytime switch first, then toggle between front and rear. Since yours is a SPDT and not a DPDT, I'm a little lost.

Just making sure I get this right. I have the mini dpdt switch. The middle prongs are the ones that need to go to the head unit and the upper and lower prongs are for the two different signals correct?

    Like below?

The DPDT switch I use is an "On/Off/On" type (there is actually 3 positions the switch can be used in), so in the above example you could have both of the fans off, if the switch were left in the middle position.

how do you get the guidelines in the front display? is that based on what kind of camera you have?

Kind of an aside question, does anyone have a suggestion for fuse size for the front camera? I have the inewcow one that fits in the Toyota logo.

Camera doesn't take much to work. Any will do, I used add-a-fuse and tapped power off the fuse labeled S/Roof. Guessing that means sunroof which I don't have.

I just wanted to say thanks here to @Hoangde for creating this thread and providing lots of good info and schematics for this mod. I completed mine back last June and have really enjoyed the Rear Cam anytime, a Front Facing Cam, and Navigation Bypass. I've not done a write-up yet as of this posting but hope to include one eventually linked/in my build thread.
