Has anyone here checked if there ATF was low? Did anyone have any issues with Servco checking the ATF level?

Just took mine to Servco today. I just told them it's slipping so they had to check it.. They wouldn't otherwise. It was a quart low.

Anyone go with an aftermarket alarm? I'm looking for something that doesn't require an additional key fob/remote.

A lot of aftermarket brands can be programmed to the OEM remote. Just way more expensive.

What have you done to your truck lately
Sawzall the bolt off and buy a new bolt from Toyota.

That's the one way I've seen but installing the bolt from the rear towards the front defeats the fact that the bolt is angled, in the event the nut comes loose and backs out, the bolt won't slide out since the bolt head is captured. Maybe I'm overthinking it...lol

That bolt has been installed backward since forever with out ever falling out. If you want to be sure the nut doesn't back off, I put a witness mark along the nut and bolt with a paint pen. Then you can do a quick visual inspection to make sure nothing is coming loose. Mine never has, and I don't use any locktite on that bolt either.

I added a shock sensor, glass breakage sensor and a tailgate pin to my stock alarm which makes it like a aftermarket alarm. Bill at Progressive did the work and came out super nice
