Hi I am Steve and new here. I am looking to buy a 2016 offroad Access Cab. I would like to know the price for Toyota extended warranty platinum for 8 years. I can't get the salesmen to give me an upfront price for this. If someone could give me the going rate for this it would be greatly appreciated.

okay... so the brochure seems to differ from the website... the website seems to change day from day when building a truck... and the dealer doesn't seem to know crap without taking three hours of my time. So the topic post says #7559 will allow me a V6 4x4 manual. The only other way is a DB offroad. Does anyone know if anything has changed cause the website wont allow me to build it? And preferably no sunroof. Thanks.

The website actually does change from day to day, it only shows what's currently available in your region. Your dealer may be able/willing to request the vehicle you want in an upcoming allocation round. The TRD Sport AC is available in manual transmission, and no access cabs come with sunroof, whether or not they have prem&tech.

I'm new here, but I have owned three Tacomas in the past. My current truck is a 2010 Tundra CrewMax. I want to go back to a Tacoma, and just started searching local dealers in my area online. I found what I want (just want it in Gray), is this price a good stating point? I'm waiting to see if this is a Long Bed.....

If you look at the top bar on the Tacoma build page, you should see

    Your location, certified used, etc.

Seems the site does pull in your approximate location. You can change the zip code by clicking on "your location".

Went up to washington just across the river last night to see what i could get a 7542 for. They were going to give me 500 over invoice (which ended up right around 35500 with accessories). Couldnt agree on a trade in for mine, considering the dealership in my town offered me 3K more for my trade in. Thing is the one in my town is offering me MSRP on that tacoma. Now i have a 1000 deposit on one coming in on tuesday, but i figured id do my research and see how honest they were being with my trade in, by shopping. I have to say the masters list came in handy. I came in got the print out for the truck they wanted to sell me, got a pen and was writing down the invoice for everything on the truck, and told em thats what i would pay. Needless to say the manager was impressed because i was 4 dollars off from actual invoice.

Now im thinking i'll go in tuesday to pick up my truck and do essentially the same thing, and offer 500 over invoice with the same trade in as they agreed upon. If they arent willing to budge, i'll go 2 different routes.

    a) tell them invoice plus 500 and i'll buy some accessories (predator steps, and/or the paint film) since they make a shit pot of money on acc's

    b) tell them i'll pay 1000 less than msrp and they throw the lift on the toytec lift i have coming monday on for free

    thoughts?

500 over invoice sounds good, did that include TDA, Del/docs and holdbacks? .....i would try to get the acc's at invoice as well.....not sure what the lift labor is worth.....What was MSRP?

not entirely sure what a holdback is. That was including the 900 dollar transportation fee, but nothing else. it does include the acc's at invoice as well. the labor of the lift would probably be a lot (500ish) I only say that because i talked to a former employee of the dealership and she said that they would probably say the lift would take the day as far as labor hours. MSRP was 38 and change

holdback is money that Toyota plays with that the dealership gave them in the invoice price. At the end of each quarter, Toyota cuts a check for every vehicle sold. This allows dealers to show that the invoice and MSRP is closer than it actually is. For a TRD model, holdback is around 700-800 dollars

You don't. No dealer will let you talk about holdback with them.

Question how accurate are these invoice prices? I'm looking at a 2016 TRD Off road 4x4 short bed and long bed and wanted to get all the numbers in order for my offers.
    Thanks,
    Kiel
