I have an invoice... looks like the truck will be built the end of this month. I have tried to get an OTD price, however, they keep telling me they won't look at exact numbers until the car arrives.

Side note it looks like toyota renewed/extended the new graduate rebate so I should get an extra $750 off!

I never actually got a build date specifically. Based on the last 6 of the vin number given 43B025, I found out it would be built hopefully from the 24-30th. Haven't gotten much info other than that temporary vin

    Hello everyone
This will be my first Taco ever. I got my eyes on the TRD PRO in Cement. There is one available at my local dealer. The price OTD is $48,xxx. That is included tax, fees, TDA...etc. They wont budge at all with the price. It's included 2 added options around $500. What do you guys think? Can I find a better price on that TRD PRO?

You don't mention your location or tax rate. OTD pricing is certainly what you need to focus on, but we'd need to know what your state-defined costs like taxes and title happen to be. Also it'd help to be specific on the truck; what exactly is added and is it AT or MT?

Sorry about that. Im in Buffalo, NY. The tax is 0.0875. It's an Auto. The 2 added options is minor and costs around $400-$500. I didnt care about them so I can't remember what they are.

Okay, so basically looks like he's charging MSRP. For a PRO in Cement that may be what you end up paying at this point of time.

Do get others opinions, but also shop around -- how many of those are available within three hours drive? Can you wait? Will another dealer order one for you at a lower price? I'd guess maybe not, but could be wrong.

Thank you! To be honest, I wont be doing any off road and wont need those suspension. Just that I like the Cenent color and leather seats.

That's a hell of a lot of money for a paint color... and no sunroof on the double-cab PRO. Limited has leather. Down here you can add it to other trims but doesn't look like you can up there. Check out Clazzio seat covers; many here like them and they're surprisingly inexpensive.

Buffalo? Yeah, you'll want 4x4 even if you don't offroad. I used to live in the Finger Lakes. SR5 or Sport or Limited would do the job.

Anyone know if the military cash affects the dealer's pricing? I think those programs pass though, but I could be wrong.

If it does pass through, then the dealer's pricing the truck at invoice+1000 which I'd think you could improve upon, but with it being a M/T I don't know how much.

That sounds like a really solid deal, especially since it included the dealer fees. Congrats.

    For regions see http://usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/cars-trucks/Determining-Your-Region-for-Toyota-Deals/
I believe if you're outside of GST and SET you're in corporate areas without the GST/SET intermediary distributors. I could be wrong of course.

So this looks like invoice plus a little. I'll let you look up the exact invoice prices from post #1, don't make us do your homework for you. If you're in the range of invoice plus $200 plus taxes/title as your drive-out, you're doing pretty good.

Now if the dealer is adding junk fees to the numbers above, then it depends on how much crap they're adding into the deal.

I already looked up the master list numbers. They don't match but I was wondering if it was because of regional reasons. It's not bad really. I did a mass email strategy and it was the first one that showed up. Appreciate the input. Thanks

Cool, it wasn't apparent that you'd done so. No mind readers here.

As far as I know the master list numbers are correct for Toyota corporate (all but GST/SET). They generally seem to match what I have for SET based on a build / options checkbox sheet I think they weren't supposed to let me keep(*), but I have some options the master list doesn't and the master list has some options I couldn't order in SET.

For whatever reason, it looks like they're just charging you more than invoice on some of the accessories, for a total of a little more than $200.

If this is the result of the mass-email strategy it's likely about the best you're going to reasonably do, and seems to be a solid deal provided they don't jack you with surprise fees.

(*) I took it home on the first visit, then on second visit it just sort of didn't make it back into my pile. Of course I'd already scanned it. :)

Excellent. I just have to get him to get rid of that TDA fee.
