Still have to mount my CB radio on the plate but coming along. I like having everything right in front and out of the way. Also replaced the screws with stainless steel.

 

Anyone wheel real hard with this? Im talking about going fast not hard core crawling

Fed up of rattle but this looks like it’ might well humm, looks to be an awesome product tho

 

Actually we do occasionally Jimmy: you will get minor vibrations in the arms depending on lengths. Short arms are better. No rattle. If you really take notice your entire dash will get minor vibrations going fast on washboards and we tie into the dash inner structure as well. But regardless this is a very solid mounting option.

Awesome I’m just about to take apart my dash to see if this will work for me and If I still have the OEM stereo mounting points for the supports as I ripped out the OEM head unit last summer and went with a modern din

Installed. For some reason, the cable cover on driver's side does not align with the end of the 3TPAM. Some notes:

- For the USB accessory, I ran wires to the sPOD so I can turn it on only when needed.
- The bracket for the Garmin inReach requires spacers between it and the 3TPAM.
- No, I did not purchase a blue USB cable to match the Voodoo Blue exterior. I had that cable in my previous rig...a gray 4Runner.

 

Thanks for sharing. The pics look great. We were actually recently made aware of a tolerance change on the wiring covers and are working to correct the change.

 

We have made some recent changes to the 3TPAM

Aesthetically and Functionally it is still exactly the same.

It’s what you can’t see that is new.

Before, the internal supports and the base of the mount were welded together as an assembly.

Our desire for some time was to make this a modular and upgradable system.

Take our Tacoma Track Mount: which shares the identical base plate and internal supports.

We wanted a way to be able to upgrade the track mount to the full powered version.

Back to the drawing board and a few months of dialing things in.

Now the 3TPAM is fully modular: meaning all internal supports and base plate can be bolted together and assembled VS welding the assembly.

The side effect of these changes: the 3TPAM has more parts but the install is easier.

Still the strongest mount on the market and does its job to the T.

Next up: we have designed and have in production our own USB outlet; they will be smaller in footprint and a standard 4.8 amp outlet rapid charger across the board.

 

We have these guys available for mounting your Handheld Radio with belt clip, or your CB mic. They can either be mounted like pictured for our track mount or standard powered mount or attached directly.

 

Is the new 4.8 usb outlet on the site? Its still showing the fast charge option for 165 for me.

 

They are in production as we speak. Should probably be phased into our mounts in a month or so.
