    Variations may be possible, but every part of the current design has a function. The center is not a license plate cutout, it is a recessed area for the fairlead to sit into. And the slotted areas on each side are for access to the winch so you can plug in your controller if needed or switch the winch from engaged to freespool. Without the slotted areas, there would be no way to get to the winch. It could be designed without the recessed fairlead area if desired.

    Right now we do not have a design option for a receiver tube, and we will most likely not offer it. As far as the winch "disappearing" it is physically impossible to get the winch out of the bumper without the entire bumper being removed first. So someone would have to steel your entire bumper to get the winch.

    Totally understand. Unfortunately that is a reality in some places and some folks go to some pretty extreme lengths to rip people off. I know of one ARB bumper from a Dodge that went missing one year. He had his rig parked for several days while he was backcountry hunting.

    Plus I'll be using one winch for two vehicles (Toyota and Jeep). I really like your design though. I don't want a full bumper on my rig- yours is very nice but not obtrusive. Good work!

    Yeah if someone really wants it, i guess they will take the entire bumper! Thanks for the nice comments! And i do understand the need for using one winch on two vehicles. I believe there are a couple other companies offering hidden receiver kits for this model tacoma. you could go that route also.
