I figured I'd start a new BS thread on the topic rather than hammer on the "TRD PRO in AZ" thread. Ordered mine in May if I recall, arrived at the local dealership Wednesday, and took delivery yesterday. I traded my 16 QS DCSB 4x4 Sport, with moonroof, and JBL. It had 5k miles. They gave me 36k on the trade, and got the Pro for 44k. And I'm glad I did.

The truck is fucking dope, plain and simple. They nailed it with the suspension. The rear leaf pack is still a little stiff, but it's a fair trade off for retaining the ability to tow some sizable. The front is amazing from what I can tell in the 20 miles I've driven it. When you open the door, the all black interior with leather seating commands respect. It's a perfect mix of luxury and aggressiveness. I think they should've used perforated leather in the centers, as I've noticed my back gets hot easily in these things, but it's still very plush. Another nice interior perk is the power rear window.

I'll post pics as I get them.

Thanks for posting. Rigid LED seem to match DRL perfectly.

Yes they do. Together they actually throw enough light to drive at night. I drove all night like that.

Heck yeah, that thing looks so rad! Is the exhaust note pretty loud? I know they're unchanged, but does the exhaust and or any potential software updates for 17s seem like it has any more pep than your old one? Congrats on the ride, it looks mean. Looking forward to more pics.

I'm also interested. How does the exhaust sound?

Does anyone know if the Pro comes with a manual trans? I ordered a 2017 TRD OR in stick, but the more I look at the Pro the more I want one!

Is there still two skid plates on the front like the OR or does the single, apparently longer TRD front skid plate replace the second one the OR has and, is the engine oil drain plug still accessible with the front plate in place?
