At my Toyota dealer having the 15k service performed and noticed they have a Pro in stock. That price though... IMG_20161015_101340.jpg

keep looking. there are high volume dealers who will sell at msrp no q's asked. here in DFW you have the range, one high volume dealer down the street won't talk about it less than $5k markup. like a sucker i offered him up to $2500 markup and he said no. kept looking and found another high volume dealer also in DFW who set up the deal at msrp $41755 + ttl (MT). and he was easy, the other guy was a con and a waste of time.

Some people want to pay top dollar for suspension and a new color.

It's not really haters gotta hate, it's more like rational people gotta realize they can have the same configuration, or better, for quite a bit less (not including repainting for cement).

How much for a repaint?? Not some shitty Earl Scheib job.....Yea, you can throw all the aftermarket stuff you want and do a repaint, but it's not going to be cheaper.... What's the Pro's premium over a TRD OR loaded?? $4000-5K?

    Skid plate $625 http://www.toyota.ca/toyota/en/build-price/cp4#accessories
    -Exhaust = $725 https://trdparts4u.toyotaofdallas.com/scripts/prodList.asp?idCategory=2164
    -Hood Scoop = $120
    -Suspension =
    $2300 front http://www.americanmuscle.com/fox-25-factory-series-coilover-reservoir-dsc-adjusters-0915-4wd.html
    $440 Rear http://www.ebay.com/itm/Fox-Shocks-985-26-116-Shock-Absorber-/272339269057
    -$1600-$2500 for decent leather https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/leather-seats-on-trd-sport.404301/
-$800 wheels (though can't find somewhere shipping to Canada)
-$800 for Grill (with shipping) http://puretacoma.com/grille-insert...1.html?zenid=ad6368ff200afba0fe430cee5a9a6c7a
-$200 for TRD shift knob (after shipping)
    -Rigid Fog Lights: $500 http://www.rigidindustries.com/mounting-options/46567
    -TRD Floor Mats: $150

= $8260 - $9200 CDN$ (or more depending on the leather and other tags)

The "market adjustment" premium above was 6k alone. That was my point. The truck isn't worth 50k compared to the OR with what you get, but somewhere people are still paying it. What are people getting fully loaded OR's for? I know people have pulled deals at $250 above invoice for them. If you can get the amount off MSRP on a Pro that you can on an OR then it is fair to say the Pro isn't overpriced in the Tacoma market. But paying 5 or 6 grand just to allow the dealer to take your money? I don't see how that is beneficial to the truck. Also, my comment about the paint was that you can't come in cheaper modding an OR if you absolutely need the cement color.

I'm not bashing you by the way because you own a Pro, its a nice truck and if money was no option for me, I'd buy one. I do still believe that people are paying a premium for what they are getting though.

The cheapest TRD Pro I found was 47,900 and that still way over my budget (and for the truck IMO). I was holding out for one but once I saw that I got a TRD sport loaded up. Around my parts all the Toyota trucks are marked way up. I overpaid for my TRD sport too.
