The offset of the wheel is what you need to find out. The height and width of the tire is fine.

I would think there would be a good bit of rubbing with no lift. I could definitely be wrong though. isn’t that a 32.5” tire?
Get yourself a set of Bilstein 5100s ($200)for the front and lift it 1 inch in the front and you should be fine. Easy enough to do yourself and won’t affect anything else you might be worried about with a lift. It’s about the same size tire I have. I did 1.75 in the front and a .5” spacer in the back. Definitely will want to check into the offset as well though.

I think the wheels you're talking about are 5 lug so you'll need adapters to make them fit on your Tacoma. Just something to think about.

If you end up going for it please post pics because I've been wanting to see how Tundra wheels look on a 3rd gen Tacoma.

I was thinking 31.5 but you are right they are 32.5. With 5100's to level the front he would be fine.

Everyone, thanks for the info over the weekend regarding running Tundra 20s on a stock Tacoma SR. Here are a few notes & some are redundant from your answers, the inch equivalent of the 265/60R20 would be a 32.5" height, the new Tundra machine finished alloy wheel is a 20" x 8" with a 6 lug pattern & 5.5" spacing so would fit the Tacoma. The best guess on the offset is 60mm. I believe the Tundra 1794 wheel interchange # is 560-75277B. I'm trying to avoid adding any lift so it sounds like running these on a stock SR might be a challenge.

Daveiezzi, I have contemplated the same setup... contacted toyota parts... and unfortunately can up with the same results! Yes, they fit, but are just a tad to tall!

Follow up - I didn't end up getting the Tundra 20" wheels & tires for my 2022 stock Tacoma SR (too risky) but I was able to get a set of brand new 2022 Tundra 18" alloy wheels with 265/70R18 Bridgestone Duelers at a great price (see attached). I'm guessing I should be fine to run these on the 2022 Tacoma SR but let me know if anyone has history (they're not that far off from the 265/60R18s which come standard on the 2022 Tacoma Limited). Also, I believe I need to get new lugs & TPMS sensors, please let me know if anyone has any recommendations for these as well. I know I can take the sensors from my existing stock wheels but I prefer to leave those as-is for resale or re-use. Thanks in advance for the advice.

It’s an aggressive and definitely unique look. I say your truck so enjoy it!

The new Tundra 6 lug factory wheels will NOT work for Tacoma
the hub size on those new Tundra wheels is 95mm, too small for Tacoma

    Hmm....
Can you still return these for a full refund? They aren't going to fit Tacoma 106mm bore

Malatx, thanks for the heads up. I never thought about the hub size & assumed they were identical. It looks like the 2022 Tundra moved from the old 5 lug 5x150mm/ 110mm hub size to the 6 lug 6x139.7mm/ 95mm hub size. I'm guessing the 3rd gen Tacoma has been 6 lug 6x139.7mm/ 106mm hub size from the get go.

I bought these on Marketplace so a refund is a no go. I got such a good deal that I'll just list them & hopefully make a few $$$s. I'm back to square one with the Tacoma wheel search but will stick with only Tacoma replacements.

This website is great, thanks for all the info!

Ok, so I'm on need of some new tires, and I'm replacing the wheels with fuel Maverick satin black in a 20x9 wheel with an offset of 20mm. What is the biggest tire that could fit without rubbing? I have a 2020 trd offroad btw. I've heard a 275 55r20 is, however I'm not quite sure. Extreme terrain over the phone also stated that.

your overall tire height can't exceed 32" or else you will rub, and with an offset of +20mm on a 9" wide wheel, you will very likely rub the fender liners when turning.

    and I thought 17" looked silly! :D

It just looks 'wrong' to my eye. Low profile configuration comes from track cars. The application has a purpose there... This is another instance of Trucks adopting a 'look' without considering functionality. (Like the squat adopted from off road racing trucks!)

The ride must be horrendous. The weight penalty significant. Overall performance and functionality suffering quite a bit. Form needs to follow function. This is just odd "fashion".

Not hating - As said above, not all things are for everyone and tastes differ. I am stating my reasoning.

Fine if you want the look. It is your $$. It costs $$ to do and costs $$ when selling as you either have to revert, or the buyer will have to account for the cost of going back to a 'reasonable' wheel.

It is all good. I would not do this - not only do I not like the look - but from a practical / functional point of view, this 'look' achieves nothing (other than the look.)
