Well....I have an 06 DC 4X4 4.7 Tundra....gets 19 mpg (imperial gallons not US gallons on the highway)...very thirsty....I guess this is about 17 mpg US

I agree that Tundras are more bang for your $ compared to Tacos which have a "cult following"...hence the higher resale value

Ist gen Tundras are really nice and if you do get one seek an 05 or 06..the last 2 years....silky smooth 5 speed tranny and VVT engine

The 2nd gen Tundras are big....Ok if you need something this big

I love my Tundra but baby her and therefore have more trail fun with my Taco
