4.88 nitro gears installed. Need feedback

Hello all. I got my 4.88 gears installed today and I was hoping to get feedback from people who already have it done. I have to break them in and that’s a mission on it’s own. My question is does the noise created by the gears really disappear after they are broke in or does it just get less noticeable? Also, does anyone who has the nitro gears done the OV tune? If so was it a huge difference? If you have any advice for me since I have the 4.88 gears id love to hear it. Thx

Are your gears noisy?

 

Yes they are right now.

 

I’d be interested to know your experience with the noise getting better or not. I’m thinking of going 4.88 at some point.
