I'm about to purchase a 4 channel amp that is 1200 watts so that means I would be pushing 300 to each door speaker with are pioneer 3 ways it's a planet audio and I can get it for around 85 bucks would 300 watts be to much for the doors since my pioneer headunit pushes 50 watts to each should I get a lower watt amp or stick with it?

300 is peak power not RMS. Make sure you match your speakers RMS with your amps RMS.

300 watts is a little excessive for Pioneer 3-ways, but you could always just turn down the gains on your amp to keep from blowing the speakers. Start the gain settings low, and the volume high and adjust the gains until the volume is as high as you'll need it. If the speakers start to distort, drop the gain back a little.
