As long as toe and camber are close to 0 it will not effect tire wear. Caster just pushes the wheel forward, zero effect on tire wear.

Caster should be as close to 3 as they can get. Camber and toe at 0 with the lift.

So tell them 2 and try it out at first? If I do this I still worry about when I'm off road I mean God sakes I'm not building a street queen so do the caster and still trim it up??

Try what I said caster 3, toe and camber at 0. That's where I'd start with a 3" lift. 4" may need a little more but start at 3.

If you do the caster, there will be minimal trimming, but it will be on the front fender instead if you keep going past 4. Not sure with that lift, but you may need to hammer the pinch welds then seal with rtv and heat gun the fender liners to make the new contours.

Lol, it was my friends truck. He had 285 17 and had it moved up to 5 to keep from rubbing. He eventually put it back to 3 and did the proper cmc for it.

I will do the caster at 3 but still going to do the trim and cut the pinch weld just in case I watched some vids and it does not look bad at all. Give me excuse to buy a welder as well lol

You need to provide the whole story?
What type of lift are you running?
    What UCA did you get?
    What tires do you have?
What are the wheel specs. Not just the off set. -18 doesn't really tell us anything without knowing the width of the wheels? (Unlless you're saying you have 17" wide rims???)
    Picture would really help.
285's on 9" wide wheels even running Spidertrax spacers on a 3" lift would only rub a little. (if the caster is set correctly)

Makes me doubt that you have 4" lift on there?

Unless you're runnng 14" wide wheels?

It is impossible for anyone on the internet to help you unless you provide all the important information. Picture would help a lot!
