I have been shopping around for a couple weeks now and have been looking at everything from Tuff Country's 4 inch lift to an Icon Stage 3 lift;) and i think what im deciding on is Rough Country's 4" or 6" lift. But i dont know which one is better for the truck or the difference between them other than the added 2 inches, thank you:help::help::help:

Don't you think you could condense this to one thread on this topic? You have like what 3 of them now floating around the same suspension questions???

Icon stage 3 would be the best choice out of what you have listed for choices

Don't do a rough country lift. If you want a 4 or 6" lift spend a lil more and get a better one.

Ah okay Good Luck with whatever you go with and enjoy the Junk Country Lift. Time to unsub and my little advice is " Buy once and cry once. " And remember you get what you pay for.

I have been doing hours of reading about lifts and from what I have read so far is a nice affordable lift get a 5100 set up .as far as a db lift the rcd that comes with 5100 rides good and the CV and tie rod angles are all good .bds with fox coilovers is awesome too but cost way more.i am just saving to buy the fox with camburg arms .if you can't afford quality suspension I suggest to save until you can do it right the first time

    Yer new here aren't yah.
    o_O

The better performance lift of the ones you listed is the Icon.
If you can't afford it don't list it as an option.
Ifen your planning on mall froadin then the Rough Country is the lift for you.

There are other affordable performance lifts similar to the Icon.

It mostly depends on what you're trying to achieve, are you looking better than stock performance off-road? Higher load capacity? Planning to run a larger tire and wheel? Planning on adding armor? (skids, plate bumpers, sliders)

Just be patient and read and take in all the info that you can and in about a year you will be able to make a choice that will work good for you. I like reservoir shocks because I like the bling factor and when I go to the dunes I will rip up the whoops and jumps

I was set on a 6 " bds but after reading and knowing what I do with my truck I am going with fox 2.5 and camburg a arms probably from headstrong it will be 2500 for that set up and I can run 16" wheels with that set up .I could get away with 5100 most of the time but once I hit silverlake sand dunes a couple times a year i think the fox set up will be more fun

What's wrong with it is it doesn't put your cv angles back to stock angles like most db kits. Also look at the tierod angles. The blue truck has a rough country and the red one has a rcd. Just look at the cv angles and if you still want to use rough country go ahead but I would spend a lil extra on something else.

I'm running Bilstein 5100 front and rear currently using Tacoma TRD Sport springs with the front set at 0.85 and 1/2 spacers, planning to swap them out for OME 885 springs. The rear has a two leaf progressive add a leaf. It lifted the front about 2.5" and the rear 2" and gave me plenty of clearance for a 265/75/16
