I would never do that to a nice truck. Seems destructive and counter productive to me. Have you even considered the quality of the ride? There are much better parts on the market that will actually be an upgrade from stock.

20" wheels have no place on a truck, unless its a lowered street machine.

If it suits your needs my opinions are worthless. But you did ask.....

Go to autoanything.com Bought a stage 2 icon for under wholesale price for just under 1600 shipped and everything. 3" in my opinion is more than enough... Also going over 3" requires after market UCA's which have you even considered getting yet? If you're worried about price go with an OME or Bilstien 3" they're good lifts for mall crawling and overall capability. RCD is a good lift. Pro comp and Tuff country though... Id stay away from..

If high RCD type crossmembers, then you are complaining of lack of the ground clearance.

I don't understand why people thinks that any suspension lift increases the possible tire size. It's not true, let's take an example, expensive e.g. Icon stage 3 mentioned before, it's not increase tire space at all! If it would, the bump stops would be taller for limiting the uptravel to prevent tire touching to the inner fender.

Rough Country is not a great just out of box, but the basic things are ok, beefy crossmembers and spindles. You can upgrade it by good coilovers/shocks, RC's own shocks sucks.

    all tore up already
drop brackets and frame chops dont have any place on a year old truck IMO. thats stuff you do to a jeep or chevy to justify a new found country culture imo

    :sadviolin: Whatever. Go low then.
Btw. Most 3" lifts reduce droop by 2-3", meaning there is only 1-2" left. With drop bracket lift you have 4-5" left. No fear of the dreaded clunk of it bottoming on rebound.

I am slightly confused on the comment

"I don't understand why people thinks that any suspension lift increases the possible tire size."

Can you please clarify? Suspension lifts do increase your ability to run larger rubber. Also, many suspension lifts DO include larger bump stops... I appreciate alot of the things you've posted here though, and agree with most of it 110%. I just don't understand what your point was in that comment. Also, I guess I am the thread reviver.
