Any body have any recommendations for where to get a 4" suspension lift kit if so what kind? Was there any rubbing or any problems with fit? Was there any trimming involved? Also what size wheel and tire did you go with?

I had my 4" BDS kit installed a couple weeks ago and so far it feels very solid. It's an expensive kit, but the shop that installed it even said the quality was great. (Different shop than purchased from)

Did you just order the bds kit and take it somewhere? Cause the dealership can't even do it. I was also looking at fab tech but they want 3500 for the performance lift kit.

Yeah that's exactly what I did. It was a little under $3000 for the kit + install

A drop bracket kit is not as simple as putting coil overs on and cranking them up, there are a ton of parts to it. If you wanna see a full list check out their website. As for how I like it, the truck rides awesome. It keeps all of the front end factory like so the ride is very nice. It is a little bit stiffer due to the fox shocks in the rear, which are required for a 2016. This is the only pic I have right now, but if you want some different angles I would gladly take some for you!

Get us some more angles please! Are fox shocks in the front too on the 4 inch kit?

image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg The front shocks are factory. The kit does not replace any of the front suspension, it just drops it down. This keeps all factory angles.

Niko that lift is pretty sick. You've gotta message me some more pics of that. I'm interested to see what pieces come with. I'm close to pulling the trigger on a tuff country kit which looks real nice. 916-606-6535 Jared.

So i genuinely don't understand, not trying to hate.

If you wanted stock suspension geometry and just a lift, why not go with a body lift? I thought the whole benefit of a suspension lift was increased performance both with articulation and damping. I'm at 55,000 miles on stock suspension and I guess I don't see why keeping the stock suspension is a benefit?

Seems like 4" could be achieved with moderate body lift or an equally expensive ($3-4k) coilover, leaf pack, UCA combo.... In fact I think you could net 3" out of a bilstein 5100 + 887 coil and a 3" leaf pack, getting better overall performance and then throw 1" body lift blocks if you really want that last little bit.

It seems as though these lifts give you ground clearance but no increased function of a mid travel lift. I'll pass on this. I'm still debating going with an icon or piecing together my own kit.

The fab tech kit I was lookingat replaced everything. It was just a tad pricey. But it also depends on what you want out of your kit. If you're doing some serious crawling you may want that. Or if you're just hitting up some dirt roads, mud, snow, and etc. then it depends.

I think what BDS means no larger wheels than 18's

No, they say 18x9 or 20x9 with a 4.5 backspace max, when i asked them before the stated the larger knuckles require larger rims. I know with their F150 lifts the first run of knuckle could work with smaller wheels but then they beefed them up and required and larger rim.
