    Hi Folks,

I stumbled across a new driver side Spindle for my 03' Double Cab 4WD w/ABS for sale. The part number is listed as 43202-35071. Will this part # work for my Tacoma?

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/195529099650

I meandered and found the following old post but the OP didn't mention 03's:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/useful-4wd-conversion-info.413901/#post-11722172

I'm thinking the RWD and 4WD driver side spindles are identical unless there is something special about the 03's I'm not reading up on.

    thanks!

Looks like you should be good. The non abs ones have don't have the hole for the sensor in the casting. Why purchase this though, unless yours are bent?

During Brake/Rotor service both brake caliper bolts sheared off in the spindle and after I drilled the bolts out the spindle threads are garbage. Go figure the passenger side service was as easy as you'd expect it to be. I also tried a drill out the the lower caliper hole to 31/64 to accommodate a M12 Helicoil but %$@^$#% my drill doesn't have the beans.

I don't have a drill press to open up these holes up for an M12 helicoil any further, so a new spindle is the next best thing. I got fresh new tie rods and LBJ's sitting on the floor waiting for what comes next.

    TIA,
    Edgar

Dang that sucks, probably better to find one off a Junker. All the 3rd gen 4runners have the abs spindles.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
No friends that could help drill your holes?

Getting a few holes drilled has to be cheaper then a new steering knuckle .
