I fixed it and it blew again in Cleghorn so I gave in and grind the shock tower lip for added fitting clearance where it was contacting. All good now. Let me know for sure when you stop by SoCal again. Hope I have the day off.

They're good, don't fit perfectly but if that's what you really want I'd shell out for the 2014+ Limited bumper. They go for around $300 on Ebay. I think SW is charging around $250 for the fill plates.

That sucks, but hopefully it doesn't give you any more problems. I'll let you know when I can do the next trip- hopefully you can join too.

Installed my CBI rear this weekend with the help of @sytfu510 @w3tw0rks @247daryl @kalieaire and @Baoser. Yes it took all of their help to figure out my mistakes after I drank some Pliny . Thankfully I didn't drink until after I cut the bumper :D

I ordered the CBI with dual swing outs and with the tire swapped to the driver's side for additional rear visibility. Unfortunately CBI didn't ship my bumper with some of the table hardware, so my dual tables are MIA in these pics. A quick phone call this morning and the hardware is already en route.

Excuse the crappy spare for the time being.

Damn didn't know they changed that. I knew their 5th gens require cutting but I thought 4th were different

I think my rear bumper and some skids are all I'm doing for the next couple years. I need to get a more realistic daily by next year and start saving this as a vacation rig.

Once I have my life organized and get a few more years under my belt at work, it's time for regear, supercharge, front bumper, lockers...

@.45 JHP is my inspiration haha

Thanks! There are a couple options so far for full bumper replacements like @SixthSnail mentioned. I opted for the CBI mainly because of the dual swingout + table option and didn't mind having to cut into the OEM bumper skin.

This build started out being really mild...I was convinced I was done after a lift and tires until this happened lol.

Thanks man. The 3rd gens are really nice too. Lots of new features that even the 4Runner doesn't have.

When you get the tables put on, I want to see. I didn't think tables were really doable with a dual swing.

I'll have you know that you're making me seriously think about that S2 system. How do you like it so far, and if you did it all again from scratch would you consider it over a true LT setup?

    I'll be honest.

I love it, but I wouldn't do it again. Nor would I do a LT set up. My original plan was to get a stock runner, get ADS or King extended RR coilovers and Rear piggybacks. For what I do, that would be fine. I have this set up because the rig was the same price as stock models with the same mileage and it saved me the time and money of lifting it and it is an incredible set up! I think down the line, I will swap to King or ADS but it won't be for a long while. Probably in stages like coilovers, secondaries, then rears. I'd rather get all my armor and LCA's done first.

I think that a full LT set up would be better for serious wheeling, but I take it easy. This set up is too much for me but I still really like it. I won't complain about having more than I need when I didn't pay for it haha.

I do for my 3rd gen T4R. Nothing yet for the 4th or 5th gen bumpers. Our biggest constraint is time and space. One will be solved after this month, moving to a shop 4x what we are in now. After we get settled we will be looking for another fabricator.

Headed up to Tahoe National Forest with @w3tw0rks @Baoser @sytfu510 @MJonaGS32 @247daryl @jberry813 @kalieaire @and @Mademan925 over the weekend for some camping and mild wheeling.

Most of the pics courtesy of @247daryl who recently got a 3rd gen Taco and joined TW. Already getting modded...

Made quick use of the new CBI bumper after I took a retarded line and wedged the rear against a boulder. I look cool, but I'm stuck.

Saw this sweet LC60 (I think?) on the way back to town. RHD and turbo diesel. Had a mag gray TRDP in tow but I didn't get to talk to him much.
