If your converting to a MAP sensor then yes you can do that.

I think you should go to a junk yard and just go poke around for some stock intake filter housings. I'm sure something out there will work

Thanks guys. I'm actually getting some crap done today. Finished the motor mounts, finished fitting the cab and permanently welded it on, and started mocking up the sway bar since it plays a role in getting the firewall figured out. The 18" arms are gonna be used on the rear axle, and I'll probably get the bent 20"s for the front.

The sway bars are able to disconnect right? or how do they work to allow super flex yet stable road? just curious....as i might want to know for my future rear setup :D

Where is the sway bar going to connect to? I'd say roll the axle under there and figure out a lower place to mount it. I don't see any advantage to it being up that high.

It'll connect directly to the axle. It's there out of necessity more than anything.

Mounted under the front - steering and panhard in the way
Mounted above/in front of engine - panhard bracket is in the way
Mounted below/behind engine - tranny and/or oil pan and upper link in the way
Mounted above/behind engine - clears everything

I don't think the placement height has any effect on it, the only suggestion/rule is that the arms are parallel to the ground at ride height.

eta - here's an example where the arms are really high

Jonathan, how did you like your black hood? I'm tempted to dip mine, the other day when I was driving there was a nasty glare coming off the hood and I think dipping the hood would solve that.

Thanks man, I think I have adjusting the settings down pretty good, but technique and consistency still have a ways to go haha

Yeah, I'm curious as to what is used for the sway bar links at that length.

I liked it a lot! It certainly did a good job cutting down glare. Plastiderp is a good start to see if you like it, but I don't know how well it would hold up in the long run. Not sure what route I'll go next.

    I wish the $$ would flow faster.
