I figured since the truck wasn't going to be done for a few years at least you could play with that in the meantime.

Broke down and finally bought a compressor and sand blasting stuff. No more BS trying to remove rust and paint with a flap disc, especially on critical parts like brake assemblies.

$2500 of tires make good counter weights.

At least it's a change of scenery I guess :notsure:

Ok, I understand the goal of having a low frame height, but don't you think that's a little unrealistic?

Yeah, picked it up last week while I was in Wyoming. Buddy of mine is building a WW1 French fighter (Nieuport 17) and didn't want to buy a roller since he only needed it for 2 bends. I told him if he bought one, I'd just buy it off him next time I stopped by.

Yeah, I sometimes couldn't maneuver the hoist around things to where I needed it, especially the jack stands. Flipped it around and welded the supports.

Tested/played around with the abrasive blaster. Plenty of room for improvement I'm sure, but it sure beats using a flap disc or some other BS.

Good question. ... I had to go look at the bag, I just grabbed what they had at the store.

    This stuff -

    http://www.ati-blackdiamond.com/products/little-fury.html

I also grabbed some walnut shell media from HF too, but haven't used it.

Soooo can you sweep this stuff up and reuse it? I made sure to sweep the garage pretty damned good before I started.

Some you can reuse and others you cant, it won't harm anything just wont strip as well. You can put a tarp or something down to catch it. Some people use regular sand, much more aggressive and dangerous

Well I had no clue what you were doing with your truck.

Are you using springs or linking it?

    Is that a D60?

Are those the 4XInnovations door quick disconnect hinges? Do you like them?
