    I couldn't pass it up! :p

The only metric is a drawer full of M8s.

Haha I thought you didn't need one since your truck is an auto trans?

BTW Monte, in regards to the PM about a stand alone ECU... If I'm running modified internals (minus cams, turbo, etc) should I be running a stand alone ECU anyway?

Autos need one too. It's just a reduction in gears which can never be a bad thing. Downhill is where it helps the best for my type of wheeling IMO.

I'd actually buy a crawl box if I'd ever install my SC... Don't need another chunk of steel worth over $1500 sitting in a garage haha

Nope. Would be fine if cams are stock. Even with slightly different cams be okay

Modified internals would include pistons with the 8.3:1 compression rather than the stock 10:1.

    Ha!! Too true. :anonymous:

    I'm saving that one. :p

In other not-so-news, I am probably most definitely going to build up the motor with strengthened internals and get the truck moving again before the turbo goes on and all the other fancy doo-dads. There goes this upcoming tax return. Still haven't done shit with the truck. Too busy paying bills, building a patio deck, auto body work on my grandparents' car, etc.

And I'm pretty well convinced that I should convert the truck to run on E85. Literally the only downside is using approx. 30% more fuel.

Actually you can make good power with e85 when boosted. But yes need a lot more fuel.

I wouldn't do it because you won't find it in a lot of places. Can't in wy really.
