    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
"cum" was a poor choice of words here. Maybe "jiz" would have worked better, but TBH, this post went a little too far.

It's about as close as I can get. I'm told Solidworks is the way to go, but Inventor will suffice.

    Correct.

And it needs to be a solid model, but that can be converted.

I use solid works and I love it. Never used inventor but I've heard solid works is better

Amazing work Jon, I've been silently watching. Finally have something to chime in on though... SolidWorks FTW. If you need access to SolidWorks I can assist!

I've never seen the 3-D printers actually work. How long does it take to make something like that?

8-12 hours. Plus acid bath after.

Fwiw I don't think a 3d printed one will be strong. The abs just never is that sting for real use.

Depends on the material used. They guys at our shop printed a couple hammers and they work well, I broke one but I had it mounted it a4ft pipe.

A lot of it has to do with the structural density and layer direction

So download the software, then connect to printer and wait? I've looked at them before for a few oddball parts when I had my 81 but are those 400 dollar machines even worth it?

Can do some cool stuff with them. 400 bucks is nothing. Used to be thousands.

Fit.and finish with extrusion machines is poor in my opinion, especially with the cheaper machines. Though for certain truck parts they would work well. Material can be pricy.

I know they used to be way more but for 400$ I wouldn't mind trying to make a couple parts I'm curious to see how it turns out Jon
