Those look exactly like my subaru wrx seats :D

It took a lot of modification for you to install? My install didn't require any welding and only some modifications

I always wondered the same thing. :der:

At least I kind of agree with you guys on this one. For a long time people thought I looked like Colin Farrell... not sure what possessed them to think that.
Lucky for me my grandfather, dad, and I all have a full head of hair. Gonna keep it that way!

A bit more than I was expecting. When we initially looked at the seat fitment, Madjik_Man and I kept scratching our heads saying out loud 'how the hell did kmok do it??'. Got any specific pics of your mounts?

I thought it would be easy for you after all the other things you've done to your truck lol. I didn't have a lot of trouble putting them in my truck. Maybe the difference between the mounting of my stock buckets compared to your 60/40 caused the problems lol. All the holes on the wrx seats were close to begin with on my truck. I'll try get you some pics of the mounting points tomorrow.

Ball joints are toast. Spindle hits the coils during articulation/droop. Aftermarket UCA should fix that. Probably the last major mod to the truck for a long time.

Probably go with Light Racing UCAs here soon. Looked at Camburgs but I'd rather have the maintenance free boot/ball joint set up right now than keep the uni-ball lubed properly. Anyone else run Light Racing UCAs on their 1st gen?

Also removed the wheel spacers up front and ground the calipers to clear the D window wheels. Super easy, don't know why anyone wouldn't/couldn't do this if they're concerned that the wheels won't fit. Very little of the caliper surface needs to be removed. Odd thing though, seems like it cleared the passenger side just fine without grinding. Dafuq?

Yeah, there's really not much at all that needs to be removed. Insignificant to the integrity of the caliper, IMO.

Wasn't following All-Pro's build. Been thinking about it over the last few days and have a pretty good idea of what I want to do.

Tired of CAD (not to mention, I don't really know how to use it haha :anonymous:) so I'd like to make a full-size mock up (probably using some cheap conduit pipe, and for the added benefit of practicing the use a bender). I think it'll give me a better idea of how it'll look, what exactly I'll be able to fit in the bed, and a good idea of how much tubing I'll need to buy.

Yeah, I've been looking around for pics/ideas and I may incorporate a few into the build but I haven't seen one built like what I have in mind. So

And I'm most likely altogether ditching the other design I posted. Hoping to chop the entire rear off and tube the whole thing with removable bedsides/skins.

I've got LR UCAs on my truck. I haven't had any problems with them and my truck tracks and handles better with them on than the stock ones with lift. There are some pics of them installed in my build thread.

Sorry I haven't been able to get pics of how I mounted the WRX seats in my truck I've been a little busy...

    haha

If the dog had lighter color hair... I'd mistake him for Monte.
