    Roll the fenders?

    For 35"s? You might be able to get away it if you move the caster forward as much as possible and the BL. Can't say for sure. Here's what the 35"s look like stuffed without trimming. You can see the back edge is bent from catching the tread and that's after I bobbed the bed and clearanced the rear of the bedsides.

    ya, roll the fenders like the stance guys do. I would remove the inner fender lining of course, and with a heat gun and roller roll the fender lip up and out to give it some more space, mainly so the lip didnt eat the tire. Would have to do more work on folding over and trimming the front and back of the fender because that is always what touches. But with the rolling and slight body lift i would hope it would be just enough to clear em.

    Yeah biggest problem for the front is that pinch weld and the tab on the front (you can see it behind where the very end of the bumper is).

    ya. im really not too worried about the front. there appears to be gobs of room up there. as far as the pinch weld i have no objections to beating the piss out of it. the tab by the bumper can easily be cut. I just don't want to cut and chop sheet metal.

    You should be ok then. All that gobs of room tends to be quickly consumed though. I probably won't have much fender left by the time I'm done trimming. :anonymous:

    Gobs of room?? Wtf are you talking about mark. Haha even I feel like my 33s do t have room. I think you'll under stand with a real 12.5 wide tire under yours..

    Your going to have to cut the fenders in one way shape or form for 35s I'm pretty sure man. It's just not possible.

    and you are probably right lol, however i probably have a bit more lift in the front with the lack of winch and 4cyl. John said he cut 1 3/4" out of the fender...i figure with the body lift and rolling out that fender i should be able to just clear it...maybe. then there is still the issue of more lift needed in the rear

    Nope. Sorry to be the wet blanket but 35's aren't going to fit with your current lift and a 1" body lift unless you tub the firewall and cut fenders. I know for a fact since I have the same amount of lift and the 1" BL and some 35's on hand that have been tested for clearance.

    Go back to pretending because that's the only way it's going to work.

    You may be able to fit 35"s but if you expect much (if any) flex, I agree cutting is the best option. Why so against cutting anyway?

    i just don't want to start hacking at body panels until i know it is a trail rig. what if god for bit something happens and i have to sell it. I would never plan on it...but shit happens. I also don't want it to look haggard and chopped up (not that yours do, i couldn't tell at first by looking at pics).

    So does adam still have his inner fender plastic? He also has flares which take up some room. What all did you cut jon? got any pics of your fender cutting and if you tubbed? I couldnt find any.

    I can tell, all the cool kids are busting out the sawzall
    well the 35s would be trail tires. I would probably keep some 33s for daily driving to keep the mpg down to a minimal amount of suck. In 4lo...the truck gives no fucks if its on 35s.

    this might have to be a winter project. really want to start now but nooooo money haha. it sucks ass! ive been lookin on craigslist for 35s but i know responsibly it has to wait a while.
