That sucks. I know a bunch of people who live here but still have current out of state tags. Just out of pure laziness.

All you need is an address to register it at. And yeah its supposed to be in that state more than half the year. Same with boats.

And eric still has MN plates on everything using his parents address :spy:

how do they know you don't take weekend trips back "home" to WY?

i hit a bump in the road when i couldn't get insurance in CO with my NY plates. i had to register in CO mainly for insurance. i would have rather kept my NY plates, registration was cheaper!

If you still have a WY license and friends that live out there it would be possible to register the truck there. I live in CO and have my truck registered in AZ and have an AZ licnense to its legit as long as the cops dont know how long you have been in Wisconsin or in my case CO. If you still have friends in WY and a license there than just register like normal use one of your friends address as yours or even your old address and forward all your mail to where you currently live pretty easy. AZ is a breeze to pass smog and way cheaper than CO thats why i keep it registered
    there!

Gonna look more into the registration deal, but I just got off the phone with Wisconsin DMV and lmao, WTF!!!!! They told me that if I have a vehicle with any kind of Wisconsin plates, it's illegal to offroad ANYWHERE in the country! F this state. I'm assuming because this retarded state has literally no wheeling available, they were confused and off-roading to them means ATV designated trails. Gonna call again tomorrow.

Not much done on the truck. Been paying bills and the alternator in the Honda crapped out on me and had to replace it.

New addition to the garage though

Also started converting the hubs on the rear axle from metric to 9/16's to match the front axle hubs.

    P1290475_zps63fbebdf_092cf81659c4d26760f3afe0109367b22c7f9cf2.jpg

    I know they're a little long but it's nothing a bandsaw can't fix.

Gonna see how far I can get today on setting up the rear links.

Ordered up a dimple die set, 8" ram for the hydro assist, and one of the seats to get the floor section squared away.
