    9/2/14 Edit: 4.3 Vortec installed, NP3500, custom NP233 transfer case, high pinion dana 44 SAS with ARB, 4.88 gears, bobbing the bed, 5" lift, boxed rear frame, custom s10 fuel tank mount, etc. 12/16/13 Edit: Currently tearing down a 2000 Blazer to transplant the 4.3 Vortec and 5spd manual transmission (NV3500 I believe) into the Taco. It'll pass CO emissions when done. Planning to post a thread once complete. E-Locker, budget CAI and exhaust, Warn Powerstation, Addicted Off Road bumper, ToyTec OME w/AAL lift, aftermarket stereo w/10 inch subwoofer (only cool when you realize how I fit it in a reg cab truck), dual lexus horns, roll bar, off road lights, CB radio, Powertrax Lock Right locker (front diff), ejecto seat, laser/phaser/ion ray gun, oil slick, heat seaking missles...
    I'm doing a Dana 44 SAS on mine right now, actually cutting off the strut towers tomorrow if they still want them. Was planning to torch them off, if they need them closer than .25 to .5 inch from frame i might want a little green for the grinding effort. 1995.5 Tacoma. Let me know.

    They're the Currie sway bars, so I should be able to keep most if not all suspension flex. Small price to pay to maintain better control in any go-fast stuff. Plus if I'm planning on doing some 'crawling only', they can be easily disconnected. :cool:

    For the price of those Anti-rocks you might consider looking into the Ruffstuff sway bars. They have a really nice DIY kit that includes one free sway bar "tuning" IIRC.

    Thanks for the heads up, I didn't know RuffStuff had sway bars. If I'm reading it correctly, they're at least double the cost of the Currie version?:confused:

    The cost is in the bar itself, because they will tune it by reducing its diameter. I was just throwing it out there as an option, don't know if an off the shelf bar will work for you. I know the stuff Currie sells is tuned especially for various models of the Jeep.

    I'm trying to wrap my head around the "why?" behind cutting the entire floor out. Some things are just better left alone IMO. Now you're going to be working 2 or 3 times longer/harder to install the basics again. Amirite? Unless you're literally using the cab shell and building tubing around/in it while ridding the truck of any type of amenity.
