The extended travel, I thought, would have a shaft spacer, but it doesn't. So they needed new shafts in order to achieve the travel numbers I wanted.

Also my mom found another old photo of my dad and I. May 1998

Ah so if one were to order actual extended travel you'd be good.

Even though I don't know you, if you ever sell this truck I'll be so sad.

I had already braced and everything, prior to realizing this wouldn't work

This is where things start to take a turn. I tried notching the stock frame, and couldn't get the coilover to clear where I wanted. My friend with a 4400 car urged me the entire time to cut the frame off. So alas here we are:

[IMG]Untitled by Connor Rhoades, on Flickr

Time to make some frame rails. Here is roughly what I had planned over the stock frame rails. As high as possible.

I'll spare the inbetween, here is the frame section before welding in

Coilovers are 14's and the links are roughly 42/43".

No action yet! Truck is pretty beat from sitting for 2 straight years. We're getting there though!

Absolutely. I slightly regretted the 14's (bought because they are ultra 4 4600 legal originally), but honestly more travel than I will ever need.
