I don’t think they look bad, but I’m old.

Thanks, I dont think they look bad either just not quite as good as I was hoping for. The plastic ends give it kind of a cheap look, I think I’m going to coat it in linex or some type of bed liner type material

I don’t think your steps look bad at all. It’s probably one of the better looking steps that I’ve seen. I looked at every rock slider and side step on the market. (Literally sleepless nights). I emailed several of the manufacturers an out Pre Runner products but I have not heard back from any companies yet.
Run what you brung and I wouldn’t mess with trying to put a coat over them. They’ll only probably gray out and peel off the plastic because the material is hard to stick to unless you use a sem’s product. https://semproducts.com/

It probably won’t happen, Toyota is A big company and the pre-runner is not a high dollar model. They want you to buy a Pro or a Trail hunter. I wasn’t looking to spend $70,000 and I’ve owned five generations of four doors so time for something new. I can’t get over how good the motor in transmission package is. They’ve done an excellent job with this truck and I would not go backward to an old model ever…!

Love the truck. That's the set up I'm looking for. I'm looking for an SR5 4x4 Xtracab, which is hard to find, but Prerunners seem to be a tiny bit more available. I was wondering how the long bed on leaf springs rides on the road and off. How is it on the trails or in the sand? I'm in Southern Utah and we definitely have sand. Would love your opinion rather than a YouTube influencer. What dealership did you get her from? Thanks and enjoy that beautiful truck!

Thanks, and great point, I think I might hold off on the bed liner and just do that if/once they start to rust or show significant wear. The bed liner option seems more complicated/uncertain than I was originally aware of. The way they are already is growing on me a little too

Nice looking rig, but more info on the early 90s V6 reg cab? Looks in great shape and that has got to be a unicorn? V6 and SR5?

    Wheel question.

My OR hybrid came with 18s.
The non-hybrid ORs come with 17s.
Will the 17 inch wheels fit on the hybrid?

    thanks

Sure it will, do whatever it takes to get rid of the 18's....
Your wallet & ride comfort will both thank you...
Dont get a e rated tire, or even a c for that matter....
I went with just a standard load tire...
Softer / less rigid sidewall = best ride quality....

Happy to find an OR with the 6 speed MT…even though we had to drive several hours.

Lot pic for the one I picked up today. The other colors are cool, but I like the StormTrooper look.

Congrats! What dealer is that? I’m curious about the red 4Runner.
