Planning on trying to get up to the rim this weekend for some camping!

When: (flexible) Leave Phoenix around 5:00pm on Friday, July 1st. Stay until Sunday, July 3rd.

Where: FR 300 past payson. Probably somewhere back by knoll lake.

Weather: Forecast calls for showers and a high of 76, sounds perfect to me...

Who: if your interested in going, message me and we can get a list going.

Let's get a fun group together and go enjoy some rain!

Dislike, my tent is to small to have a cot in it.

Just a bunch of old crap
Josh usually camps on the rim side of Rim Road (south side) right by the edge of the rim. It's not far at all from the turnoff to Knoll Lake camp area, just on the other side of the road. Good spot back there, just no water. There are better places to camp right at Knoll Lake.

I could possibly leave early Friday morning and try to find a better spot in the area around Knoll Lake. Would have to drive around to find signal so I can post the coordinates.

I'll share my ultimate Knoll Lake camp area with you guys if it gets me a reach-a-round. Big camp area out of the way, and you just walk down one hill to fish. Totally private unless someone is already back there, which may be possible this weekend with all of the weekend warriors.
