4wheelparts.com experience

Just posting my own personal experience with this site. I ordered 4 tires on January 1st, shipping was pretty fast, under a week. Had the tires mounted within a week of purchase and immediately started running into issues, seems I managed to get 2 bad tires that could not be balanced. Took the Taco to three tire shops, no luck. Called 4wheelparts, they said "call BF Goodrich". Eventually, by about mid February, BF replaced both tires under warranty. When I bought the tires on January 1, I also received a promotional $70 gift card from 4wheelparts that was supposed to "ship with your order". Well, I never saw it. Early February I called and asked and was told "the lady that ships gift cards has been on leave, you should get it in two weeks". Called again in early March, was told "sorry I'm shipping you your gift card now". Yep, still no giftcard and it's the end of March. Can't say I would ever buy from this site again. The price was great, but lesson learned.

 

I also ordered the KO2s because it was a good deal. Will have them mounted next week hopefully I don't run into some issues. Oh and yeah I have yet to receive my gift card..

 

For what it's worth, BF Goodrich warranty service was straight forward and easy, hopefully you skip the issues though! I wonder if they ever ship these elusive gift cards?

yup i haven't not received my gift card either..

 

Called today, month 3 now, was given the same story as when I called in January "the person who issued gift cards was sick, you should receive it in a week though". I'm now pretty convinced it is a complete scam. I asked for a managers name and there was silence and upon pushing was told "Heidi". I feel like filing a complaint to the BBB wastes more of my time and frankly don't even want to buy anything else with the $70 they owe me, but I hate to see BS scams like this!

Ok, so I received a return call from a woman who said she was listening to the call I had made earlier and she apologized for my frustration. Long story short, despite saying I really was only interested in the company doing what they said they would do, she overnighted a gift card and I did receive it. I really am not one to cause a fuss, I jut received the same story after 3 months and a few calls and was feeling it was total BS. I don't even have any item I would want to buy from them.

 

What's the number so I can call and get mine?
