So does yours had the rr diff button? That would piss me off to find out I think I got the locker and didnt. I am going to go check mine now because I got the button but never engaged it yet.

Yes, go one step better than TRD shocks, and get Bilstein 5100s... they are very cheap for a great shock. I put them on the back of my 2005 Tacoma... when one of the TRD shocks pulled apart and vanished somewhere in Baja... I also added Ride Rite air springs (bags) to stop the '05 from bottoming out with any load in it over bumps... I didn't know about the TSB, and my service manager never offered to fix it dispite my telling him what it did. The '10 seems to have stiffer springs and hasn't bottomed out with a load (yet).

So I was trying to turn my locker on and it wont do anything but blink. I called my dealer to make sure I got it and they say they will call me back. I am just going to keep on trying to get it to engage, If yu look on your diff there are two sets of plugs going to it, I hope this means I have the locker and its just being stubborn.

The cluelessness of this thread is really goofy. Anyone need to know how to tie their shoe laces? YIKES

If you're trying to engage it on dry pavement, it won't engage until you drive forward a bit. At least, that's how my 03 was. Even in sand, you may have to move the wheels slightly to engage.

It was on sand, I did it over and over again with no luck. I moved prob 100 m trying every 10 putting in N then pressing button, but still nothing.

Steve, you don't have your truck details in your signature yet... Is it a 4WD or 2WD???

The 4WD rear locker only works in L4 (Low range 4WD)... It will blink all day if you push the button in any other mode, but won't go solid unless you are in L4, and stopped so the back tires are not spinning. Push the button, and if it doesn't lock on, begin to creep forward. It will lock on then.

Thanks for that... if you do what I always do: "stopped so the back tires are not spinning. Push the button, and if it doesn't lock on, begin to creep forward. It will lock on then." and doesn't then take it in... for sure!
