    So then on trucks like Dodge Ram, they only have traction control and you need to add an lsd as an option to be the same or similar to our auto lsd that comes stock?

    An electronic LSD is not a real LSD. The mechanical diff is just a normal open diff. A computer controls the brakes to simulate the effects of a mechanical LSD. It can brake the spinning wheel allowing the open diff to transfer power to the other wheel on that axle. It's a fancy form of traction control.

    But it’s still different from plain traction control as it forces the other wheel to still get power correct? Like a real lsd. Also, this is only a feature in 2wd correct?
