Okay, I might head up there in a few days, and see what the guy wants for the parts? What should I offer him for the parts Adam?

Well another thing you need to check and see is if his has manual or automatic hubs... if its automatic, you will need a new computer from what I've heard...

Idk, if I were you I would go up there asap, because I imagine as soon as its done he's going to be packing up and going home... but just ask him and see what he says... hell, he may say $100 you never know

If its automatic hubs then I prolly wouldn't pay over 500 for everything just because you will have to get a new computer... for the sake of being easier and I'm not a big fan of auto's try and get it off a older body style

you know, you could buy the parts needed, and turn around an make money, because it seems like a lot of people on here are going to follow your steps

Thanks for all the complements guys, I appreciate it!

It took a couple month of stalking craigslist and a few good buddies keeping a eye out to find all the parts. I had the tranny swapped because I had a solenoid go out in my stock tranny (after I had already bought the 4x4 tranny) so I guess that was a sign that it was meant to be... He had it a day to do the tranny and a day to do the front diff.

Last september I was over at one of the local fab shops ( M.O.B.S. Fab, www.mobsfab.com ) and I had priced bumpers and sliders but had never really put aside the cash to do it... well we were able to do a lil horse trading and I ended up with a full custom bumper! Damien is probably one of the best fab guys/welder that i have seen... it got started as this

    MOBSBumper1_619217258205a6292b95858fff95c32e64aaf17b.jpg

It has since been finished. I topped it off with a Smittybilt 8000lb winch and a set of Hella fog lights that he built into the bumper along with turn signals

And here is my newest project that is being powdercoated as we speak :D

    MOBSSlider1_cb188d2aa7664d7cca3f97d9173a09b547feffbf.jpg

One and a half inch square tubing... I will get a pic of the bumper and slider as soon as I get the sliders put on... He also made me a sick under-belly skid that runs from the front diff/rack and pinion all the way back to the transfer case

I'm working on getting all my pics together. The sliders should be done tomorrow, the skid and bumper are already on the truck. I am going out of town tomorrow, so hopefully when I get back the sliders should be on first thing monday and I am having a Spartan front locker, diff drop and fresh CV's put in over the weekend while I am gone.
