I just ordered an Ultra-Gauge. I have been checking them out and people haven't had much bad to say about them... It should be here by the end of the week, but Thursday through Saturday the truck will be on display up at Auto Fair at Charlotte Motor Speedway at the MOBS Fab booth

Got the Ultra Gauge, but I haven't had time to play with it yet. I really like the look of this thing and it seems to be pretty legit...

I also just ordered my HID's. I got the 5000K Morimoto Mini's D2S projector with angel eyes and the Apollo shrouds for the head lights. I also got a set of 5000K 35W for the Hella FF75's in the bumper. I can't decide on if I should just put them in my black headlights, or... since I have to take them apart anyways to just take my stock lights apart and black them all the way out and just have the angel eyes/projectors there...

Well tuesday was my day off so I figured I would change the tranny fluid/filter. I decided to swap it over to Dexron VI Synthetic. Everything went smoothly for the most part and is running fine.

I also got the chance to go ahead and play around with my old headlights. I polished them up and they turned out half way decent I thought...

Also my HID's came in, only thing is one of my angel eyes is broken. I e-mailed theretrofitsource.com. I'm really hoping they come through for me... I can't wait to get these things in... this should be interesting, looks like a lot of confusion coming my way

I have baked the headlights and they are apart... getting off here to get them painted up!

Thanks for all the kind comments!

I finally got time to get some pics. The lights are in and they are worth all the headache! I ordered some 5K LED's for my front side markers and tag lights and ordered some blacked out, LED tail lights/high mount brake lights. So I will have 5K HID's/LED's all the way around

I also decided to Plasti-dip my badges. They turned out ok, but time will tell...

I see this truck everyday, remember when you built it and gave you a lot of pointers and advice, and i just read this whole build thread and i am still shocked at how easily it all has came together.

Thanks for the kind words guys. It's been a fun project and it wouldn't have come together without friends like you guys for help, advice and hiding the transmission for a couple months lol

Well my LED taillights came in friday for me to find they back ordered my 3rd brake light without telling me and still felt free to charge me for it... I was a lil ticked to say the least. I contacted them and told them to just credit my account and I would find them elsewhere. Plus I found out the LED taillights weren't completely LED, so I ended up placing another order through v-led.com. I now have LED's in my front corners and turn signals, in my rear turn signals, brake lights and reverse lights <-(coming)

I also took on a project today since I had the day off. I had taken my tool box off since I have been trying to get rid of as much chrome as possible. Well me and my buddy who works at a body shop got a wild hair and decided to paint it satin black. So I cleaned it off with some acidic based aluminum cleaner, then some degreaser, then scotch brighted the hell out of it and prepped it with some rubbing alcohol. Then we used some self etching primmer before putting 4-5 coats (three cans worth) of Krylon Outdoors Satin Black

    Prepped and ready to paint
